Owing to the seemingly relentless economic meltdown worldwide, the Dwyers now struggled to keep up their mortgage payments. After a horrific blaze devastated the junior school, officials decided to place the pupils in nearby educational institutions, but their tutors were left unemployed. Vincent’s wife, Juliet had also been unfortunate concerning her short career as a schoolteacher. The highly skilled workforce manufactured Terrier army vehicles, such as tanks. A fitter by trade, Vincent was made redundant from BAE Systems, where he had been employed for five years.
